Just a reminder that it would be useful for everyone to begin reading the new text as soon as possible.
We will begin to look at it before the exams but the more you have read, the better position you will be in and the more thoroughly we can cover it in class.
As you read the book begin to make (and post to the blog) Chapter Summaries like those we have done for Animal Farm. If you are planning to use the text in the exam then the sooner you can have your chapter summaries complete, the better.
I will begin posting exercises, focus questions and possible essay questions for practice soon.

sorry i thought that we were supposed to write an essay on chapter six and seven, using the focus questions to help us so i did that, but ive looked at some of the others and they answered the questions. what were we supposed to do?? hope i havent done the wrong thing.
